Starter Memory

Memory: Meowdin, Significant Negative.
Game: N/A, Starter.

You're surrounded by other adventurers and the sound of battle. Axes, spears, fists, and swords are swinging, magic and arrows are flying. It's an intense battle—there are so many people surrounding you that are unconscious or dead, but you know that you can't give up. You begin to play a song—you know the healers are going to need mana, so you decide to supply that to them. There are only so many times that they can bring a person back from unconsciousness before you run out of mana, you know? You run around, singing your song loud enough for people to hear, and you dart further into battle to make sure that all of the healers can keep healing. . . Jehantel would be proud to see a bard, his student, doing her job well.

But you don't get far. You're ready to let your arrow fly even as you sing, but you almost drop your bow when you realize what you're looking at. You have to stop singing, even.

It's Marhi.

She's Odin.

Why is Marhi an Elder Primal?

It's almost too much, but you need to do what you need to do. . . so you dart back into battle, drinking and ether and continuing your song. You don't let another arrow fly - you can't fire an arrow at your friend - but you will support the people that are fighting.

It's close, but you and the other adventurers of Eorzea manage to defeat Odin. . . but you're not sure if you can feel as celebratory as you'd like.
